ON-SITE SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Physical Education

Give students a chance to move, build skills, and practice teamwork during the school day. Superior Sports sends trained PE instructors to your campus and brings all the equipment needed for each lesson.

Students rotate through movement warm-ups, skill stations, and team games. Instructors adapt activities to each grade level so students can build coordination, confidence, and sportsmanship at their own pace. We plan class rotations with your staff around your bell schedule and available space.

Three years of PE with Eureka Union School District

For the past three years, Superior Sports has worked with Eureka Union School District to provide on-site PE programming. We coordinate with school staff to plan classes around the school day and the spaces available on campus.

What a PE lesson looks like

  • Warm-up and movement. Students practice balance, coordination, and fundamental movement skills.
  • Skill stations. Instructors teach age-appropriate skills such as throwing, catching, dribbling, and passing.
  • Games and reflection. Cooperative games and modified sports help students practice teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.

Sports and Movement Units

Our PE lessons are aligned with California’s Physical Education Model Content Standards. Each unit builds grade-appropriate movement skills and gives students opportunities to practice cooperation and sportsmanship.

Units include soccer, flag football, baseball, basketball, track, and dance. Students progress from basic skills to drills, small-sided games, or movement routines as appropriate for each unit.

PE that works with your school day

We can plan for one campus or multiple sites. Before classes begin, we work with your team to map out grade levels, class rotations, available spaces, and any student participation needs.

Activities students can build on

Lessons can include balance and agility stations, ball skills, cooperative challenges, and lead-up games for sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, and flag football. Instructors can adjust equipment, distances, and rules to suit the group.
